This is the story of a girl raised by her father and his second wife after tragically losing her mother. She married young to escape Kansas at the end of her first year of college only to find herself starting over after her husband left a note. She soon discovered her true love of sailing while growing her business over the next twenty years. A millionaire by age forty-two, she retired to pursue her passions. These are her Letters to Mom, sharing with us her life’s ups and downs, joys and sorrows over her first fifty years.
